Todd Weaver (b.1970) grew up in Overland Park, Kansas and Aspen, Colorado. He went to the University of Kansas and received a degree in Film Studies. He has lived in Los Angeles since 1994, worked in the film business for 6 years and taught himself photography. Weaver has been featured in a number of group shows, is a multiple-time official selection for the American Photography Annual, and works as a freelance photographer for various brands, including Veuve Clicquot, Chevrolet, Cadillac, and Old Navy. He self-published his first monograph 36 in 2018. 36 is an experimental portrait book shot on film of 36 Los Angeles-based artists that includes Devendra Banhart, Ryan Heffington, and Ariana Papademetropoulos. He is currently working on his next monograph- an experimental film project about surfing and the ocean.
